Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Piano Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through engaging and comprehensive music education. As a vital member of our creative arts team, you will design tailored lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and cultivate students' musical talents. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise in piano performance and music theory while helping students develop confidence and a lifelong love for music. Responsibilities Develop customized lesson plans that align with students' goals, skill levels, and learning styles Teach piano techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills effectively to diverse age groups Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a respectful, focused, and encouraging environment for all students Incorporate creative arts elements such as choreography or movement to enhance musical understanding when appropriate Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement Prepare students for recitals, performances, or examinations by guiding practice routines and performance strategies Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student development progress Requirements Proven experience in teaching piano performance and music education across various age groups Strong background in curriculum development tailored to individual student needs Knowledge of classroom management techniques to foster positive learning environments Experience working with children and youth programs, including preschool or childhood development settings Skills in teaching visual & performing arts, choreography, dance instruction, or theater are highly desirable Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate musical instruments, creative arts, and performance techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Join us if you're eager to make a meaningful impact through arts education!
