Duties Assist lead teachers in delivering guitar lessons aligned with curriculum standards and educational objectives Support students' individual learning needs by adapting instruction to various learning styles and abilities Help manage classroom behavior and promote a respectful, inclusive environment conducive to musical exploration Collaborate with teachers on lesson planning, instructional modifications, and assessment strategies to enhance student performance Engage students in activities that develop their musical skills, including tuning, strumming, sight-reading, and performance techniques Maintain accurate records of student progress, participation, and performance data for ongoing evaluation Communicate regularly with parents about student achievements, challenges, and upcoming lesson plans to foster strong home-school connections Qualifications Currently enrolled as a music student or in a related educational program with a focus on guitar or string instruments Demonstrated experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings, preferably within elementary or private school environments Knowledge of music theory, literacy education, and basic math concepts related to rhythm and timing Familiarity with learning technology platforms (LMS) and experience integrating digital tools into lessons Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and parents Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse cultural backgrounds and individual learning styles Prior experience with classroom management, behavior guidance, and instructional modifications is highly desirable Join us in shaping the next generation of musicians!
