Amabile School of Music is a vibrant local music school serving the community for over 18 years. We are seeking enthusiastic part-time Piano and Violin Instructors to teach children and families. The ideal candidates will enjoy working with young students, fostering musical development, and creating a positive, engaging learning environment. This role offers flexible hours during weekday afternoons and weekends, with training and resources provided to support your success.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and age-appropriate piano and violin lessons to children and families, ensuring a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's skill level and learning style. Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to motivate improvement. Maintain professional communication with students' families regarding their child's development. Collaborate with the school's administrative team to schedule lessons efficiently and ensure smooth operations. Uphold the school's standards for professionalism, punctuality, and student safety at all times.

Qualifications:

A music degree or equivalent experience in piano or violin instruction. Prior experience teaching children and working with families is preferred. Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing demeanor. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that inspire students of varying ages and skill levels. Reliable transportation is a plus, but not required.
