We teach in students' homes across Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Newbury Park, Agoura Hills, Simi Valley, and Moorpark, and surrounding areas including Camarillo, Ventura, Malibu, and Santa Barbara. Group classes and performances happen locally, including at Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village. Families let our teachers into their homes, so we hire people who are excellent musicians, warm with kids, and easy to trust. What you will do

• Teach weekly private violin and/or cello lessons, mostly in students' homes
• Work with beginners through advancing students, children and adults
• Blend solid technique with music students actually want to play (classical, pop, worship, musical theatre, and more)
• Show up on time, communicate clearly with families, and partner with our office on scheduling and charter-school billing What we are looking for
• Strong violin and/or cello playing (a music degree is a plus, not required if you teach well)
• Experience teaching children; Suzuki training is a plus
• Personable, patient, and professional in someone's home
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to lessons in the Conejo Valley
• Willingness to complete a background check
• Afternoon, evening, and/or weekend availability Pay and setup
