Job Description

Summary We're currently hiring for substitute lead and assistant after-school piano teachers. It is possible to transition into regular lead and assistant roles as well as into other positions. Position Details This is a great opportunity to get elite training in a world-class method. The Sound Formation® Method is studied by professional musicians and students alike. Lead and assistant piano teachers gain valuable skills training with CEO Curtis Madigan and in the classroom. Ideal candidates can take on 3-5 classes/week. Class times are usually between 2-5pm. Locations are throughout Denver and we most likely can schedule work near you.
Duties Lead Teacher:
Sign kids in and out, lead curriculum lessons, games, and performance pieces. Lead a productive and fun class.
Assistant Teacher:
Help the lead teacher with various tasks like classroom management and helping students apply concepts taught by the lead teacher. Help students learn new songs in a fun and engaging way. You will also move equipment in and out of schools and keep instruments with you when not teaching. For this reason, having a car is required. Standard mileage is reimbursed.
