Piano Teacher DaVinci Center for Musical Arts Englewood, CO Job Details Part-time | Contract $50 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Flexible schedule Qualifications Piano Experience working with children Working with students Adult education Music composition Full Job Description Music Teacher - In-Home Lessons (South Denver Metro) About the Role DaVinci Arts is looking for positive, reliable piano teachers to join our team teaching private, in-home lessons to students ages 5 through adult in the South Denver Metro area. Teachers who can teach multiple instruments a plus! Our Whole Music Approach goes beyond reading notes on a page - we value teachers who not only read music but also play by ear, improvise, and most importantly, love working with kids. We also appreciate our teachers encouraging our students in the process of composing their own music. What You'll Do Teach private, in-home lessons Teach fundamental music concepts including rhythm, melody, harmony, and music theory across various styles and genres Encourage music improvisation, composition, and playing by ear as well as learning to read music Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to families Participate in performances, recitals, and other events that showcase student achievements Collaborate with other DaVinci educators and staff Schedule & Availability Weekday afternoons/evenings, Monday-Thursday Typical lesson hours: 3:00-7:00
