We are looking for an educator who can inspire students of all ages and skill levels while building a strong music program grounded in Christian faith and worship. Position Responsibilities Teach music and/or band to students across multiple grade levels. Provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction in music fundamentals, performance, and musicianship. Teach students to play instruments individually and as part of an ensemble. Develop and strengthen PCCA's band and music programs. Prepare students for school performances, special events, chapel, concerts, and other programs. Incorporate Christian music, worship, and biblical principles into instruction. Identify and develop students' musical gifts and talents. Maintain an organized, positive, and Christ-centered classroom environment. Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and ministry staff. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required , preferably in Music, Music Education, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field. Strong musical background and demonstrated experience teaching and/or directing music. Ability to teach students of varying ages and ability levels. Strong knowledge of instruments, band instruction, music theory, and performance. Strong Christian foundation with the ability and desire to incorporate Christian music and worship into the program. Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Must be dependable, professional, energetic, and passionate about working with children and young adults. Must successfully complete all required school employment screenings/background requirements. Video Portfolio Required Applicants must be able to provide a video demonstrating their musical work and abilities . Videos may include teaching, directing a band or ensemble, playing an instrument, leading worship, conducting, or other relevant musical performances.
