Duties Design and implement comprehensive piano curricula tailored to individual student needs, skill levels, and learning styles. Conduct engaging lessons that incorporate technical skill development, sight-reading, improvisation, and musical interpretation. Manage classroom environments effectively by maintaining discipline, encouraging positive behavior, and fostering a supportive atmosphere for learning. Assess student progress regularly through performances, exams, and informal evaluations; provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement. Coordinate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress, set goals, and recommend practice strategies. Organize recitals, performances, or showcases to give students opportunities to demonstrate their skills publicly. Incorporate diverse teaching methods such as choreography, dance instruction, or visual arts to enhance musical education when appropriate. Experience Proven experience teaching piano or other musical instruments across various age groups, including children and adults. Demonstrated ability in curriculum development tailored to different skill levels and learning styles. Strong classroom management skills with experience working with children in preschool or youth programs. Background in teaching visual & performing arts such as theater, dance (ballet/dancing), or choreography is highly desirable. Experience working with students who have special needs or require behavior management strategies. Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching techniques for early learners.
