Vocal Teacher

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Vocal Teacher to inspire and nurture students' vocal talents across a diverse range of age groups and skill levels. In this role, you will design engaging curricula, deliver energetic lessons, and foster a supportive environment that encourages artistic growth. Your expertise will help students develop their singing abilities, musical understanding, and performance confidence, all while promoting a love for the arts. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the creative arts community. Duties Develop comprehensive vocal curriculum tailored to students' ages, skill levels, and artistic goals Lead energetic and motivating voice lessons, incorporating techniques for breathing, pitch control, diction, and stage presence Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure a positive learning environment that promotes creativity and discipline Incorporate elements of choreography, dance instruction, theater, and musical instruments into lessons to enrich students' overall performance skills Guide students through visual & performing arts projects such as theater productions or musical performances Support students' development in related areas like choreography, ballet, dancing, sewing, photography, and childhood development as part of holistic arts education Maintain detailed records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement Experience Proven experience working with children and youth programs teaching creative arts or performing arts Strong background in teaching music, singing techniques, and instrumental performance Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques suitable for diverse age groups including preschoolers and adults Experience developing curricula for arts education programs that include theater, dance (ballet), and visual arts such as photography or sewing Demonstrated ability to work with students on their artistic projects while fostering confidence and self-expression Knowledge of childhood development principles relevant to arts instruction and behavior management in educational settings Prior experience teaching arts in a classroom setting with an emphasis on creative expression and performance skills Join us to inspire the next generation of artists! Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
