Early Education Music Instructor Bach to Rock Alpharetta Alpharetta, GA Job Details Part-time 20 hours ago Benefits Snacks provided Qualifications Relationship building (classroom management strategies) Piano Curriculum implementation Working with students Guitar playing Performing arts activities for children Classroom Teaching Singing activities with children Classroom community building Entry level Teaching instrumental performance Full Job Description Description Early Childhood Music Instructor — Rock City® & Kids n Keys® Bach to Rock Alpharetta | Part-Time Turn a love of music into a child's first big stage At Bach to Rock (B2R), we believe every kid deserves to feel like a rock star — even the ones who are still working on counting to four. We're looking for a warm, energetic instructor to lead our Rock City® and Kids n Keys® classes, guiding children ages 4-6 through their very first musical steps: singing, moving, exploring instruments, and building the confidence that turns "I want to try" into "watch me play." If you love watching a room full of preschoolers light up when they discover they can make music, we'd love to meet you. About Bach to Rock Bach to Rock is a music education center built on one simple idea: learning music should be fun. Our instructors are working musicians and performers — touring, gigging, and recording artists — who bring real musical experience into every lesson. Students choose the songs and genres they love, jam with fellow musicians, and get real stage time at events like Battle of the Bands and our Music Showcases. It's music education that feels less like a lesson and more like joining a band. What You'll Do Lead Rock City and Kids n Keys classes using B2R's detailed, ready-to-teach lesson plans and activities Create a warm, welcoming classroom where young children feel safe, included, and excited to participate Guide caregivers attending class alongside their children, helping them support their child's musical growth Introduce foundational music concepts — rhythm, pitch, movement, and instrument exploration — in ways that click for 4- to 6-year-olds Lend a hand at B2R community events from time to time What You'll Bring A solid grasp of basic music concepts and the ability to explain them in ways young children actually understand Proficiency on an instrument — piano, keyboard, or guitar preferred A confident, in-tune singing voice, accompanied or a cappella Comfort and energy in an active, sometimes noisy classroom Strong people skills — you connect easily with both kids and the adults in the room A background in education or the arts (music, theater, visual art, etc.) is a plus Ability to pass a background check Schedule A couple of days a week — weekday classes run late afternoon into early evening, plus Saturday mornings. Why You'll Love It Here Free rehearsal space and recording studio time 75% off lessons for you and your family Real public performance opportunities A laid-back, high-energy team environment — plus a great break room stocked with free snacks and coffee Seasonal incentive plans for helping us grow Curious what the studio (and your future colleagues) look like?
