Piano Teacher / Piano Instructor In-Studio Private Lessons | Established Student Schedule | Sandy Springs, GA Step into an established teaching schedule with students already enrolled and ready to continue lessons. Sandy Springs Music is seeking a reliable, engaging, and professional Piano Instructor to take over an existing schedule of private piano students at our established music school in Sandy Springs. This is not a position where you'll need to slowly build a student roster. We are hiring a replacement instructor and already have established students scheduled throughout the week who are ready to transition to their new teacher. We currently have 1-4 teaching days available, approximately 3:00-8:00 PM , depending on your availability. Applicants who can take one or two consistent days are welcome, as are instructors interested in taking on a larger schedule. About the Position This is an in-person, in-studio private teaching position at our Sandy Springs location. Students are already enrolled and scheduled, allowing the right instructor to step directly into consistent teaching hours rather than starting with only one or two students and waiting for a schedule to develop. Our students include children, teens, and adults, primarily at the beginner through intermediate levels. We are looking for an instructor who: Creates fun, engaging lessons while helping students make meaningful progress Enjoys working with children, teens, and adults Communicates well with students, parents, and our staff Is dependable, punctual, and professional Values consistency and long-term relationships with students Can commit to at least one regular weekly teaching day Why Teach at Sandy Springs Music? Existing students and teaching schedule ready to take over No need to build your schedule one student at a time Choose from 1-4 available teaching days Established, family-owned music school serving the community for 20+ years Front desk handles scheduling, billing, and customer communication No need to market yourself or find your own students Recurring weekly students and consistent teaching hours Professional, relaxed, and supportive studio environment Opportunities for additional teaching and substitute hours Recitals and studio events throughout the year What We're Looking For Strong piano and general musicianship skills Ability to comfortably teach beginner through intermediate students Good communication and interpersonal skills Organized, punctual, and dependable Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate Music degree or current music major preferred, but not required Experience with advanced students, music theory, composition, voice, or additional instruments is a plus Schedule 1-4 established teaching days available Typical teaching hours are approximately 3:00-8:00 PM . You do not need to be available all four days. We are open to instructors who can consistently take one or more of the available days. Compensation $36-$40 per teaching hour , based on experience and qualifications. Because this position is taking over an existing student schedule, the selected instructor can begin with consistent teaching hours from the start.
