Administrator Position Summary St. Theresa Catholic School in Des Moines is seeking a passionate and faith-filled part-time K-8 Music Teacher to lead and grow our vibrant music program. The ideal candidate will foster a love of music while supporting the mission of Catholic education. Essential Responsibilities Planning and delivering engaging general music instruction for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade Preparing students for school liturgies, prayer services, concerts, and special events Directing student performances and coordinating seasonal programs Integrating music theory, vocal development, movement, and instrumental experiences Collaborating with faculty to support school-wide initiatives and faith formation Maintaining a positive, organized, and inclusive classroom environment Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field Valid Iowa teaching license (or ability to obtain) Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the school This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful connections with students and contribute to a joyful, faith-centered school community.
