Job Description

Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Education Teacher to join our team. This role is essential in guiding students through exploration with education and preparing them for future academic and career success.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state and curriculum standards. Teach a range of subjects, fostering curiosity and critical thinking. Lead student research projects that promote inquiry, creativity, and problem-solving. Support students through academic advising, helping them explore and grow their interest in science. Collaborate with colleagues and staff to enhance academic resources and research tools. Monitor and assess student progress through ongoing evaluations and provide meaningful, growth-focused feedback.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Valid Iowa BOEE certification and endorsements required. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students at varying levels of learning. A commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
