This position is for independent contractor status teacher at our academic and music tutoring center. Candidates must be available for 10-15 hours a week, on Thursday Friday and Saturday.

QUALIFICATIONS

College degree is preferred, but will take into consideration teaching experience.

TEACHER SALARY

$40 per hour, or $20 per 30-min lesson or tutoring session. _____________________ The Veritas Center is a unique center where Music and Academic Tutoring all take place at the same time. We have approximately 40 teachers providing private and small group classes and lessons and tutoring in Piano, Voice, Cello, Violin, Viola, Trumpet, Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Guitar, Drums, Marimba, Bells, Saxophone, Clarinet, several languages, and all academic subjects, including Art and test prep. The center has an open and friendly waiting area, with toys and free Wi-Fi for parents or siblings. There are snacks available for purchase too! The rooms have large windows, making for a bright, welcoming atmosphere. In addition, we provide a free motivational system to teachers where we supply "prizes" that students can earn to keep them motivated to learn.
