- Well established music store is looking for a dependable and qualified Guitar teacher.
- Duties
- Teach lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, using a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage and challenge each student.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of each student and align with their goals and learning style.
- Provide individualized instruction, guidance, and feedback to students, to help them improve their skills.
- Encourage and support students in their musical endeavors, whether it's preparing for performances, recordings or participating in recitals.
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student learning and engagement.
- Keep accurate records of student progress, attendance & payments.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to music education.
- Qualifications
- Degree in Music or a related field.
- Experience teaching music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and technique.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Experience working with children, including those with special needs.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
