REPORTS TO
Amy Minch, Fine Arts Coordinator Assignments may include instructional support during the regular school day, after-school lessons, and other supplemental middle school band activities, as assigned by the Fine Arts Coordinator.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Illinois Professional Educator's License endorsed in Music Experience teaching instrumental music at the middle school level preferred Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide individual, small-group, and classroom instrumental instruction to middle school band students during the school day and/or in after-school lesson programs, as assigned. Collaborate with middle school band directors and the Fine Arts Coordinator to support student growth and program goals. Prepare instructional materials and maintain appropriate attendance and instructional records. Participate in required planning meetings, rehearsals, performances, and other assigned program activities. Perform other duties related to the middle school band program as assigned.
