Dance, Tumbling/Gymnastics, Piano, or Voice Instructor Encore Studio of Dance, Tumbling, Music & Theatre Harahan, LA Job Details Part-time | Contract $35 - $45 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Curriculum development High school diploma or GED Experience working with children Original choreography creation Dancing Gymnastics Teaching Full Job Description Encore Studio, the premier performing arts school in the New Orleans area, is currently looking for instructors, assistants, or sub instructors to join our team who can teach weekly classes in ONE OR MORE or more of these disciplines: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Tumbling, Piano, Voice Weekly classes are for children ages 3 to teen, and run weekday afternoons/evenings, and Saturday mornings. Schedule will vary depending on which classes you teach.

We have a low-stress, professional environment You just show up and do what you do best - teach! Our admin staff takes care of the rest (dealing with parents, payments, issues, scheduling, etc...) Our studios feature professional floating dance floors We are also the artistic/managing directors of the Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts, which gives our students and instructors opportunities to choreograph or perform in one or more of our several mainstage productions each year! Founded in 2001, we have become the go-to studio for the performing arts
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience dancing/tumbling and teaching your discipline, or experience in voice / piano instruction Work well with children Reliable transportation Knowledge and experience choreographing dance pieces for performance or demonstration Pay rate depends on experience.
