Job Description

Overview We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Cello teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in Cello and have experience teaching children in a one-on-one, in-home lesson setting. We are seeking teachers who are not only musically skilled but also patient, creative, and enthusiastic about fostering a lifelong love of music in students. Responsibilities Provide in-home music lessons in Cello for children of various ages and skill levels. Develop engaging and personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and progress. Inspire creativity, discipline, and confidence through supportive teaching. Prepare students for performances and recitals to showcase their achievements. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and goals.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, Instrumental Performance, or a related field required; a master's degree or higher is preferred. Experience Proven experience teaching Cello, preferably with children/adolescents. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles and needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and encouraging approach. Experience with beginners as well as students preparing for more advanced study is a plus. Flexibility to travel for in-home lessons is required.

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
