Job Description
Provide a comprehensive music curriculum that meets and /or exceeds Massachusetts Curriculum FrameworksPrepare and execute well-prepared lesson plans that are engaging for studentsMaintain and repair musical instruments and equipmentWork collaboratively with other specialists with scheduling, curriculum, instruction and assessmentProvide structure and routines with clear expectations to facilitate a safe and engaged environment for studentsProvide students with clear behavior expectationsProvide instrumental lessons with groups of studentsWork closely with other music teachers to schedule and coordinate student performances Other duties as assigned by the PrincipalsExperience/knowledge in teaching in extended time periodsStrong organizational, communication, and class management skillsKnowledge of Music Technology
