RESUMEREVIEWS AND INTERVIEWS FOR THIS CANDIDATE POOL WILL OCCUR ON A QUARTERLY BASIS. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE PLACED INTO THE ACTIVE CANDIDATE POOL AND MAY BE NOTIFIED WHEN THERE IS AN ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR OPENING FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE.
Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time, semester-to-semester, non-benefitedMCCC/MTA/DCE
unit positions. This posting is for a candidate pool for anticipated vacancies for the 2025-2026 school year.GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Teaches a standard range of courses expected in the first two years of a degree program in the field.EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
(including but not limited to): Conducts classes. Prepares for instruction. Assesses student performance. Provides student assistance by appointment. Engages in professional development and required trainings. Attends a limited number of faculty meetings.Requirements:
Master's degree within the field or 18 credits of graduate level work specific to the field. College teaching experience, high school teaching experience, or adult education experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Successful community college teaching experience. Commitment to fostering inclusiveness, equity and diversity within the academic setting. Teaching experience with Early College students or at the High School level. Commitment to the mission of the community college. Experience building and facilitating asynchronous or hybrid courses using a standard learning management system.EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT
