Part-Time Group singing instructor needed for Thursdays!
Description:
The Hanover Theatre Conservatory is currently seeking an experienced Group Singing Instructor to work with children in grades 4th through 7th AND teens/adults in 2 classes on Thursday evenings from 4:30 - 5:30 & 5:30 - 7. Classes run from September through December, with the potential to continue in 2027. They must possess a deep understanding of creative classroom management and create a safe, supportive and structured classroom environment. Must be able to create and execute lesson plans based on a curriculum outline. Must be passionate about the performing arts and child development. T is also the possibility to teach private vocal lessons in addition to these classes.
Qualifications:
Must be willing and available to work on-site in Worcester, MA. In-depth knowledge and expertise in music, auditioning and performance. Knowledge and demonstrated practice of effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and effective learning environment. Strongmunication skills (both verbal and written). Demonstrated leadership ability. Effective prioritization and multitasking skills. Collaborative decision-making skills in a team environment. Detail oriented with ability to effectively multitask. Must have reliable transportation.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Music, Theater Arts or related field, Master's Preferred.
