As a certified Elementary Teacher, your commitment to nurturing young minds will be valued and supported in a collaborative, student-focused environment. What we're looking for: Active teaching certification for elementary education Previous classroom experience preferred Knowledge of age-appropriate instructional strategies and curriculum standards Ability to create an inclusive, engaging environment for diverse learners Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families Flexibility in adapting lessons to meet individual student needs Key responsibilities: Design and implement daily lesson plans that meet district and state standards Foster a positive classroom atmosphere promoting respect, curiosity, and academic excellence Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure student success Communicate regularly with families about classroom activities and student progress Support students' social-emotional development and conflict resolution This role features a manageable class size, working with 19 students—well below the maximum class size limit. The work schedule runs from 8:35 to 3:28 daily, with a half-hour unpaid lunch, totaling 32.5 hours each week. Compensation for this position will be provided at a competitive rate.
