Founded by seasoned educators and musicians, we are passionate about nurturing a love for music in students of all ages and dedicated to creating an environment where our instructors can thrive. Job Overview We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic part-time violin instructor to become part of our team. The perfect candidate will be passionate about music education and skilled in motivating young students. The instructor will provide one-on-one lessons for learners of various ages in their homes. Instructors have the flexibility to accept as many or as few students as they prefer and can set their own schedules in convenient locations. Responsibilities Design lesson plans tailored to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Offer constructive feedback to help students enhance their skills and musical understanding. Communicate with parents regularly to share student progress and establish improvement goals. Maintain a supportive and positive learning atmosphere, inspiring each student's passion for music. Stay in touch with City Strings & Piano staff regarding prospective and current students. Qualifications Demonstrated experience teaching violin to children and teens. Strong violin skills and solid knowledge of music theory. Patience, enthusiasm, and a love for working with young students. A degree in music or music education is preferred, though not required.
