Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Piano and Choir Teacher to inspire students of all ages through the transformative power of music and the arts. Duties Develop comprehensive curriculum plans for piano instruction and choir participation tailored to various skill levels and age groups Lead engaging individual and group lessons focused on musical technique, performance skills, and artistic expression Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a positive, disciplined learning environment that promotes respect and collaboration Prepare students for performances, recitals, and competitions by guiding rehearsals and providing constructive feedback Foster creativity through lesson planning that integrates musical instruments, singing techniques, choreography, and visual arts projects Support students' emotional and social development through mentorship, behavior management strategies, and encouragement of self-expression Skills Extensive experience in teaching music, piano performance, choir directing, and arts education across diverse age groups Proven classroom management skills with the ability to motivate students while maintaining discipline Experience working with children and youth programs with an understanding of childhood development and special education needs Excellent communication skills for working with students of varying skill levels as well as collaborating with parents and colleagues Join us in creating a vibrant community where young artists can flourish!
