Chatham Studio for Music & Performing Arts Pittsboro, NC Chatham Studio for Music & Performing Arts is seeking an experienced Piano and Voice Instructor to join our rapidly growing team in Pittsboro, NC. We recently opened our storefront studio and have more than tripled our enrollment within our six months . Demand for lessons in the Chatham County area is extremely strong, and students are currently waiting to begin instruction . Our studio is a dedicated multi-instrument music school with a professional storefront location, serving a community with a deep appreciation for the arts. We provide a collaborative environment of career musicians and educators committed to delivering high-quality music education while fostering confidence, creativity, and artistic growth in our students. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about both artistry and pedagogy and enjoys working with students of all ages, from young beginners to dedicated teens and adult learners. What Makes This Position Unique Students already waiting for lessons Rapidly growing studio with strong community support for the arts Professional storefront teaching environment Scheduling, billing, and administration handled by the studio Opportunities to participate in recitals, performances, and summer camps Flexible teaching schedule Supportive team of professional musicians and educators Responsibilities Teach private voice lessons to students of varying ages and experience levels Teach piano lessons up to an intermediate level Select appropriate repertoire and exercises for each student Provide thoughtful and constructive feedback to support student progress Maintain lesson notes and track student development Help prepare students for studio recitals and performances Qualifications Strong proficiency in piano and vocal instruction Bachelor's degree in Music, Piano, Voice, Piano or Vocal Pedagogy, or related field preferred Experience teaching voice and/or performing professionally Knowledge of a wide range of repertoire appropriate for different ages and skill levels Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for teaching Ability to create a positive and inspiring learning environment Compensation Highly competitive pay commensurate with experience .
