Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher to inspire students of all ages through the transformative power of music and the arts. In this role, you will design engaging curricula, foster a love for musical expression, and develop students' skills across various instruments, vocal techniques, and performance arts. Your enthusiasm for teaching arts and your ability to create an inclusive, motivating classroom environment will help students unlock their creative potential and cultivate lifelong appreciation for music and performing arts. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development tailored to diverse student needs and skill levels. Teach a variety of musical instruments, vocal techniques, and performance arts such as dance, theater, and choreography. Manage classroom behavior effectively while creating a positive learning atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence. Guide students through performance preparation, including choreography, stage presence, and technical skills for theater or musical productions. Incorporate visual arts, photography, sewing, cooking, or other creative disciplines into integrated arts programs when appropriate. Assess student progress regularly through tutoring sessions, performances, and evaluations; adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues to plan youth programs, early childhood education activities, preschool classes, or adult education workshops focused on creative arts instruction. Requirements Proven experience working with children and youth programs teaching music or visual & performing arts. Strong background in teaching instrumental performance, singing, dance instruction (including ballet), choreography, or theater experience. Knowledge of classroom management techniques combined with expertise in childhood development and special education needs. Ability to design engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development across multiple artistic disciplines. Experience working with students of varying ages including early childhood education and preschool settings. Skills in behavior management to foster a respectful and productive classroom environment. Pay:

$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
