The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking a candidate to lead and instruct students participating in the steel pan club for students in grades 6-8 with the following qualifications:
Qualifications:
NJ Certification or Credential 2100 Teacher of Music; preferred or 9041 Substitute Teacher Credential Experience playing and/or teaching steel pan/steel drum instruments. Experience working with and teaching school-age students. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively teach and rehearse and preform a student ensemble. Enthusiasm for helping students develop their musicianship and appreciation for steel pan music.

Student sign-up begins in October 90 Minute weekly rehearsals starting at approximately 3:15 pm 90 Minute dress rehearsal prior to performance in February 1
