Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic flute teacher to inspire and develop students' musical talents through engaging instruction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in music education, excellent classroom management skills and a dedication to cultivating a positive learning environment. As a flute teacher, you will deliver dynamic lessons that combine technical skill development with artistic expression, ensuring each student reaches their full potential. Duties Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to students' skill levels and musical interests, incorporating curriculum development principles. Teach technical aspects of musicianship, including tone production, breath control, fingering techniques, and maintenance. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and enjoyment of music. Prepare students for performances, recitals, and exams by guiding practice routines and offering constructive feedback. Manage classroom behavior effectively while working with children and young learners to promote respectful and focused learning sessions. Qualifications Proven experience in teaching music, specifically flute and other woodwind instruments. Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels. Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while working with children or adults in educational settings. Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management strategies for young learners or students with disabilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students and foster a love of music and arts education. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
