## Join One of Rio Rancho's Largest Music Schools Music on the Westside is a growing music school serving more than 180 active students in Rio Rancho and the Albuquerque area. We are looking for a passionate, reliable violin teacher who loves helping students grow and wants to be part of a positive, professional teaching environment.   • Teach private guitar lessons to students of all ages and skill levels and small kids group classes for beginners
  • Adapt lessons to each student's goals, learning style, and experience level
  • Help students prepare for performances and student concerts
  • Communicate professionally with parents, students, and staff
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
  • Inspire students to stay engaged and excited about music ## What We're Looking For
  • Strong guitar skills and musicianship
  • Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
  • Ability to connect with both children and adults
  • Reliable, professional, and punctual
  • Comfortable using basic technology such as tablets and apps
  • Excited about helping students perform and grow Acoustic and electric guitar performance experience is a plus. ## Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal music training and/or strong understanding of music fundamentals
  • Ability to read sheet music
  • Teaching experience preferred but not required for exceptional candidates
  • Available a minimum of two evenings / week or Saturdays ## Current Scheduling Needs We are especially interested in teachers available between 4pm
  • 7pm during the week.
