Job Description

Piano Teacher - The Singer's Coop The Singer's Coop is looking for a passionate, kind, and dependable piano teacher to join our studio! We are seeking a positive, professional, and enthusiastic vocal instructor who loves helping students discover their voices and confidence as performers. The ideal candidate is someone who brings warmth and encouragement into every lesson while maintaining a high level of knowledge, professionalism, and organization. What We're Looking For Our ideal teacher is: Kind, patient, and encouraging — someone who creates a safe and positive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and growing. Positive and energetic — someone who can motivate students and make lessons something they look forward to each week. Professional and reliable — punctual, communicative, responsible, and committed to providing students and families with a great experience. Organized — able to manage a consistent teaching schedule, lesson planning, student communication, and studio expectations. Passionate about teaching — excited to work with students of varying ages, personalities, experience levels, and goals. Knowledgeable about vocal technique — with a strong understanding of healthy singing and the ability to communicate technique in an age-appropriate and accessible way. A team player — willing to collaborate with the studio owner and other teachers and contribute to a supportive studio community. A performer and/or musician who understands the importance of stage presence, confidence, musicality, and performance skills in addition to vocal technique. The Role The piano teacher will provide one-on-one piano instruction to students while helping them develop healthy technique, musicality, confidence, performance skills, and a love of singing. We are especially interested in teachers who enjoy working with children and teens ! Most Importantly... We want someone who genuinely cares about their students . At The Singer's Coop, we believe piano lessons should be about more than simply learning to play piano. We want our students to become confident, expressive, resilient performers who are proud of who they are and excited to share their music with the world. If you are a warm, dependable, enthusiastic teacher who would love to be part of a supportive and growing studio, we would love to hear from you!
