This ad is for elementary school after school classes in Larchmont in Westchester County NY. We are looking for a general kids' music teacher (any instrumentalist can teach this). Experience and ability with kids is more important than any degree. We are also looking for a guitar teacher for beginners - it could be the same person. Class has 1 class meeting per week Thu 3:15-4:15, arrive 3pm There are 8 teaching dates in the term Starts beginning Oct '26 You will be prepped and equipped in time! The general music class is called MusicStart Keyboarding and is described here: We developed a portable educational electronic keyboard, called the MusicStart Keyboard. Each child gets one to use in class. Students learn to read music and play familiar tunes through color, letter, and musical notation matching. They prepare for taking any musical instrument, and at the same time they learn step by step problem solving. All materials are provided.
