Role:

Westchester Home Music is looking for a passionate and talented Music Instructor to join our team in Westchester County! At this time, we are only looking for proficiency with Strings (Violin/Cello) for Westchester County NY, and Bergen County, NJ, and Voice and Piano instructors for Westchester County, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students of all ages and skill levels while doing what you love most — making music. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, personalized music lessons tailored to each student's skill level and goals Teach one or more instruments or vocal techniques to students ranging from beginners to advanced players Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth and development Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding lesson plans and performance milestones Prepare students for recitals, auditions, or performances as needed Maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment Stay current with music education techniques and curriculum best practices

Requirements:

Reliable personal transportation. Proficiency in one or more of the required instruments listed above. Prior experience teaching music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and families Patient, encouraging, and adaptable teaching style Formal music education or equivalent professional performance experience preferred Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Ability to travel to or work within the Westchester County, NY area and/or Bergen County, NJ.
