Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and enhancing their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and tracking consumption for ordering purposes. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events like catering or nightclub nights. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer options. Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in retail math and basic math skills for cash handling. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods efficiently. Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse guests. Previous fine dining or nightclub experience preferred; familiarity with food service operations is a plus. Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while adhering to safety standards such as food safety protocols.
