Overview:

Autonomous Dignity is a company that offers music, art, cooking, movement, photography, technology, life skills, Zumba, Chess and language&culture classes to students in all ages and abilities. At this time, we are looking to hire a music teacher to teach a student with disabilities. The class takes place once a week for 1 hour at student's home in Yorktown Heights, NY. The student has a piano and it can be utilized for lessons but the class does not have to be a piano class, the class can incorporate other musical activities to benefit the student. Responsibilities:

Assess student's interest and ability and come up with engaging classes.

Qualifications:

Patience, kindness and sincerity. Ability to teach the joy of music to students.
