JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Maintain necessary certification Prepare lesson plans that are consistent with adopted graded courses of study Implement instructional strategies as defined by course of study Maintain student discipline and classroom management Observe and communicate student progress Be involved in school-related functions for the benefit of students Attempt to meet the needs of all students Participate in

IEP/IAT/SST/PBIS

etc. meetings when appropriate Participate in professional development Perform all related duties as assigned Incorporated within one or more of the previously mentioned essential functions of this job description are the following essential physical requirements: Ability to work at a desk, conference table, or in meetings of various configurations Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to see for purposes of reading printed matter and observing students Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels Ability to communicate so others will be able to clearly understand normal conversations Ability to bend and twist, stoop, kneel, run and crawl Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to carry 25 pounds Ability to operate office/computer equipment Ability to reach in all directions Other related duties as assigned
