Duties Deliver engaging clarinet lessons, beginner piano lessons, or other instrument lessons as applicable, and maintain a clean and friendly private music store studio setting, tailoring lessons to students' individual skill levels and learning goals Develop comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate technical skills, musicality, and performance techniques Manage environments effectively, ensuring positive behavior and active participation Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement Prepare students for performances, recitals, or assessments by guiding practice routines and stage presence Collaborate with parents, guardians, or program coordinators to discuss student development and upcoming events including our bi-annual recitals Maintain organized lesson records, attendance logs, and progress reports for each student Requirements Proven experience teaching instrumental performance, particularly clarinet, with a focus on creative arts instruction Strong background in music theory, performance techniques, a strong understanding of basic piano, and ability to develop a curriculum appropriate for various age groups and tailored to each students' individual needs Experience working with children and youth learners Knowledge of educational management strategies and behavior management techniques in private school educational environments Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs if applicable Excellent communication skills to engage students effectively and foster a motivating learning atmosphere Join us if you are enthusiastic about nurturing young musicians' talents through innovative teaching methods!
