Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Piano Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through engaging, personalized music education. In this role, you will foster a positive learning environment, and nurture students' musical growth. The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, and dedicated to helping learners unlock their full potential on the piano while integrating an understanding of basic music theory. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a one on one setting focused on creative arts development. Duties Design and implement comprehensive piano curricula that cater to diverse learning styles and skill levels. Conduct engaging individual and group lessons that incorporate music theory, performance techniques, and improvisation. Assess student progress regularly through performances, recitals, or evaluations; provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement. Keep lines of communication open with the parents or guardians. Qualifications Proven experience teaching music and/or a degree in music performance or education with a focus on piano performance and experience working with children is highly preferred. Strong background in lesson planning tailored for various age groups including adult learners. Knowledge of techniques and strategies for diverse student populations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students of different backgrounds and skill levels. Ability to teach voice or another musical instrument is a plus.
