Job Description

Cedarstone School of Music is a creative community of inspiring teachers and dedicated students. We are currently searching for a violin and cello instructor to join our growing talented team at our Hendersonville TN location. Cedarstone is home to students of all ages, where they excel in their musicianship as they learn from a vast array of methods combined into practical real life applications. We help every student define musical goals and see them accomplished. In addition, we provide and sustain a positive and encouraging place for both teachers and students to have fun in the process.

Empower students to maximize their unique musical potential. Cedarstone School of Music sits on 6 manicured acres of wooded bliss surrounded by nature in Hendersonville, Tennessee just 25 minutes north of downtown Nashville. Your office is not your average cubical space. Lessons take place in our full production pro recording facility. Our clients love the creative vibe and peaceful setting. We are also the home of Cedarstone Productions, where music is being created and recorded for current artists.   • Have a passion for music education and inspiring students of all ages and skill levels
  • Have formal music training and/or pro experience teaching music
  • College degree is highly respected and preferred, but not required
  • Be able to teach from a pro musician's perspective at beginning to advanced levels
  • Be well organized and systematic while designing customized teaching plans
  • Give productive instruction within the allotted lesson time
  • Manage time well
  • Enjoy working with people of all ages and possess a dynamic personality
  • Appreciate creative collaboration
  • Be prompt and prepared for every lesson
  • Have reliable transportation
