Job Description

PIANO TEACHERS/ PIANO SUBSTITUTES
Hiring currently for August start date for the 2026/27 school year. Piano Teachers for Beginning/Intermediate through Advancing Students Must be fluent in Piano and reading music for teaching and being a substitute. Student book series that is provided with room for teacher input. Teaching contract through July.

Position Overview:
We seek trained pianists who are passionate about music education and excel in teaching piano skills. The ideal candidate is dedicated to nurturing talent, preparing students for judged events and recitals, and sharing their artistry with the next generation of musicians.
Responsibilities:
Teach private and group piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on beginning/intermediate to advanced repertoire. Prepare students for performances, judged events, and advanced-level recitals. Incorporate theory, technique, and artistry into lessons to build a well-rounded musical education. Foster a supportive, motivating, and inspiring learning environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Piano Performance, Music Education, or a related field preferred but not required Proven experience teaching piano students. Must read music fluently. Performance experience in classical or contemporary styles (preferred). Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring students. Present a positive and professional image
