Play music in a band, looking to make a few extra bucks??? Hourly Pay Based on Experience, Training/Education, and Teacher Experience. Rockstars of Tomorrow Musicians Academy in Frisco is looking for Part Time instructors needed for in-studio lessons. Choose your own hours. Inspire young musicians to become crazy good. Work in a killer studio environment with a stage and a state of the art recording studio. Voice, Guitar, and Piano/Key Instructors wanted. Songwriting is a major plus!!! Must be able to teach any and/or all of the instruments above and have available throughout Monday - Saturday. Able to teach theory, soloing skills and everything in between.
Basic & Essential Functions:
- Training and instructing students (mirror and mentor training)
- Continually developing and researching greater training methods.
- Work directly with students and parents to ensure a high-quality client experience at all times.
- Keeping their work environment clean and orderly.
- Keep parents (if applicable) informed with face to face communication and emails showing student's progress and practice plans.
- Communicate with students between lessons (encouragement, check ins and virtual fist bumps)
Qualifications:
- Clear background check
- Must have formal training and/or applicable degree in Vocals - No self-taught
- An advanced knowledge of training methods and procedures.
- Professional communication skills.
- Actively supervises, motivates and supports improvement for the
ROCKSTARS
experience.- Self-directed and self-motivated; takes initiative.
- Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment.
- Organizational skills.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills and is a team player.
- Works well under pressure.
- Can effectively solve problems.
- Able to take direction.
- Knowledgeable in core instrument.
- Teaching, performance, recording, formal music theory training or some mix of the above.
- Ability to communicate and connect with students.
