About Us:

The Music Institute of North Texas (MINT) is a well-established music school proudly serving the Frisco community for over 16 years. We are known for our commitment to quality instruction, student success, and a welcoming professional environment.

What You'll Do:

• Teach private weekly lessons consistently (in-person at our Frisco location)
• Prepare students for 2 annual recitals, and additional opportunities such as festivals and competitions
• Incorporate theory instruction into lessons, and help prepare students for the Texas State Theory Exam
• Communicate with families and support each student's individual goals and progress

What We're Looking For:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in the discipline you wish to teach (a piano teacher should have a degree in piano performance or pedagogy; a voice teacher should have a degree in voice performance or pedagogy)
• Prior teaching experience with school-age children and adults
• Confidence in teaching all levels, from beginners to advanced
• A passion for education, strong communication skills, and the ability to tailor lessons to individual student needs Why Teach at MINT?
