Job Description

Helping Hands Learning Center is seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and creative Part-Time Preschool Music Enrichment Instructor to lead a fun, age-appropriate weekly music class for preschool children and help establish a beginner handbell choir. Schedule and Compensation One hour per week The hour will be divided between two small preschool groups $50 for the one-hour weekly session On-site position in Venus, Texas Responsibilities Introduce preschoolers to rhythm, melody, and basic musical concepts Teach children to play color-coded handbells Lead enjoyable, age-appropriate songs and musical activities Help prepare the children's bell choir for special programs and holiday performances Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment Handbells, songbooks, and supporting instruments will be provided. Preferred Qualifications Experience in music, singing, music education, or directing a choir Experience working with preschool or young children Patient, energetic, dependable, and comfortable leading small groups Ability to pass all background checks required for working in a licensed childcare setting This is a wonderful opportunity for a music teacher, church musician, choir director, retired educator, college music student, or other qualified individual who enjoys introducing young children to the joy of music.
