- Who we are: Shineforth's Charterhouse School-Richmond campus is a private day special education school that serves students from around the central Virginia area.
Who we serve:
We serve students in grades K-12 with a variety of educational and/or social/emotional needs. All of our students have an Individual Education Plan (IEP). Staff work with students on their individual goals and provide instruction aligned with Virginia SOL curriculum. Our small class sizes and a student to staff ratio of 8:2 allow for more individualized instruction and support.What we are looking for:
A Music Education Teacher who will provide an educational environment where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for growth. Candidates will have the ability to work collaboratively with the support staff in the classroom to best meet the academic and social needs of the students.What you will need:
A valid Virginia teaching license in Music Education K-12. Interested in obtaining teacher licensure? Tuition reimbursement and support with the licensure process provided. Why Work at Shineforth?
