Role Description The Violin Instructor is a part-time, on-site position based at Dolce Arts Studio in Bellevue, WA. This role involves planning and delivering individual and small-group (4-8) violin lessons for students at all levels and all ages. The instructor will develop tailored lesson plans, teach technique, music theory fundamentals, and repertoire, and prepare students for recitals, exams, auditions, and other performances. Day-to-day tasks include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, communicating with parents or guardians as appropriate, and possibly collaborating with the Studio to curate events and curriculum. The Violin Instructor is also expected to contribute to a welcoming, inclusive learning environment and uphold studio policies and standards of professionalism. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music Performance, Music Education, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Master's degree or Doctorate (D.M.A. / Ph.D.) in Music or related field preferred. Experience teaching violin to diverse age groups and skill levels in private or group settings. Ability to design structured lesson plans, set clear learning goals, and adapt teaching methods to individual student needs. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide constructive, encouraging feedback. Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful classroom environment and supporting students from varied backgrounds. Experience preparing students for recitals, auditions, or examinations is highly beneficial. Reliable on-site availability in Bellevue, WA and willingness to work a consistent teaching schedule, including potential evenings or weekends as needed.

Pay:
