Job Description
Job Summary We're looking for an in-house music teacher and content coordinator to help create music videos that reach millions of people. In this role, you'll work directly with an influencer family to teach music lessons to four children and help turn those lessons into short-form videos for social media. You'll typically come in for about two hours each morning before school to teach, then spend additional time planning lessons, choosing songs, organizing content ideas, and scheduling upcoming shoots. The music you teach will become part of the family's social media content, reaching an audience of more than 10 million followers across platforms. You'll help choose the right songs, come up with fun and creative ways to perform them in roughly 30-second Reels and TikToks, teach the kids the material, and help make sure the final videos are engaging and perform well online. This is a unique role for someone who loves teaching music, understands what makes short-form content work, and enjoys helping kids shine on camera. Responsibilities Teach 2-4 individual music lessons each day. Lead group music lessons with the kids. Find trending songs and develop creative performance ideas with strong short-form video potential. Choose songs, create simple arrangements, and teach parts that work well for each child's skill level and personality. Coordinate with the video production team to plan, shoot, and edit music content. Monitor social media performance and help identify what types of songs, formats, and ideas connect best with the audience. Track each child's musical progress, provide helpful feedback, and adjust lesson plans as needed. Create a positive, encouraging learning environment. Be great with kids, fun to work with, and bring strong energy each day. Requirements Must be at least an intermediate performer on guitar, ukulele, piano, and voice, with expert-level ability in at least one of those areas. Strong musicality, including the ability to create simple, engaging arrangements of popular or trending songs. Highly creative, energetic, and able to come up with fun ideas quickly. Comfortable teaching children and adapting to different ages, personalities, and skill levels.
