We are in need of an engaging, creative and fun piano instructor to teach individual high-quality piano lessons in a private studio. Candidate will be able to create and customize lessons for each student's needs via online and in-person with assistance from our team. Do not apply for short-term employment. We are seeking respectful, reliable, and dedicated candidates. Dependability is important. We are seeking an instructor to join our team and be a part of our studio for years to come. The schedule is flexible. Can include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays and weekends. Lessons will be in person (or online when needed) and will be performed at Madison Piano Place. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. 1. Patience and a desire to work with people, especially children, in life enriching music lessons. 2. Must be willing to learn and carry out Madison Piano Place's teaching methods. 3. Plan appropriate instructional strategies customized for each student's needs. 4. Participate in studio meetings, training or other activities or programs requested by Madison Piano Place. 5. Must be willing to schedule and log hours so that the company can ensure payment from the client and compensation to the instructor. 6. Demonstrate a commitment to Madison Piano Place's mission, vision & values. 7. Candidates will be able to effectively use Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, and Google Duo/Meet and will show problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills in the online environment. 8. Must be precise and punctual. Must read and answer texts and emails right away. 9. Must be highly proactive, autonomous, and have a friendly, positive, and humble attitude. 10. Must help promote Madison Piano Place, apply its principles/values, and support the marketing effort. 11. Candidates will have a desire to teach students of all ages and levels of proficiency. May also have interest in teaching Ear Training and Music Theory/History.
