Job Description
Position Summary The Communication Arts Department at California Baptist University seeks qualified individuals for its Broadcast and Digital Media and Journalism part-time adjunct pool. Openings to teach courses develop on a periodic basis depending on department teaching needs. This may include courses such as Writing for Mass Media, Broadcast and Video Production, Media and Society, and Sports Writing, as well as courses across related disciplines. Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess at least a Master's degree in an appropriate field or a bachelor's degree and significant related professional experience. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of principles, methods, and current developments in the field of study and demonstrated ability to support, instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students. Higher Education teaching experience preferred. Candidates must embrace the mission of California Baptist University and demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to excellence in teaching through the integration of Christian faith and learning.
