Position Summary:
- The Philosophy Department invites applications for part-time instructors to teach courses in philosophy, ethics, logic, and religious studies. These are non-tenure track positions.

Work Unit Description:
- The Department of Philosophy has a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education and aims to prepare students for a wide variety of professional and life goals, including graduate school in philosophy and professional training in law, social work, the health-care professions, theology, or business, but also providing a general intellectual flexibility and the analytic skills necessary to thrive in a changing world.
Salary Range:
- $46,000 - $48,000
Essential Job Duties:
- + Teach undergraduate courses. + Develop and maintain course materials, assessments, and records. + Provide guidance, feedback, and support to students while contributing to departmental goals.
Conditions of Employment:
- Pre-employment criminal background check (required for new hires).
Supervision:
- This position will not supervise any employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
- + M.A. in Philosophy or Religious Studies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching in higher education. + Ph.D. in Philosophy, Logic, Ethics, Religious Studies, or related field.
