Key Qualifications:

Valid California teaching credential in Adaptive Physical Education Experience working with K-12 students in diverse educational settings Strong ability to develop, implement, and adapt physical education curricula for students with a range of abilities Proven skill in writing thorough, legally defensible reports and conducting comprehensive assessments Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging adaptive physical education instruction to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Assess and identify individual student needs with precision and professionalism Create tailored lesson plans to foster skill development, physical fitness, and confidence Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and families, to support each student's learning goals Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of all required documentation and reports
