Successful candidates will be passionate learners and collaborators who are committed to the schools mission and invested in creating a culturally responsive program that supports academic and social-emotional learning of all students. Our school has a close-knit community of teachers, students, administration, and parents. Teachers serve as advisors to a group of 12-13 students each year, building strong relationships with students outside of the academic classroom.
Innovation Academy Charter School has a 200 acre campus with a pond, a network of trails through the woods, a turf field with track, a disc golf course, lower ropes course, mountain bikes, and cross-country skis. Each year, students have a blend of units related to outdoor adventure, team sports, and personal fitness. Situated in Tyngsboro, MA (near the intersection of routes 3 and 495), IACS draws a diverse student body from neighboring districts, including Lowell, Dracut, and Chelmsford, as well as Tyngsboro. Our community represents 19 languages spoken, 45% students of color, 25% of students on special education plans, and a community of students and staff that identify as
